Conditions of Use Conditions of Use

  1. Effective April 10, 2002 AMD CPUs have 2 months functional warranty, Intel - 5 months (see description of the item for detail). All discontinued CPUs of the above mentioned brands have 14 days functional warranty from the date of the invoice. All other items carry a 1-year warranty unless warranty is specified directly on the specific invoice for that purchase only.
  2. The warranty of any item begins from the date of the invoice. The warranty comes from Computer Revolution unless the item description specifies the manufacturer's warranty.
  3. The warranty will be voided for those products that are found to be physically damaged, burned, abused, misused, neglected, repaired or modified.
  4. The warranty will be voided for any returned items with its serial number or warranty sticker removed by customer.
  5. All Computer Revolution's suppliers provide excellent warranties and they should be contacted directly using the phone number on the product literature. For additional information, take a look at the "Manufacturer Tech Support Index".
  6. Extended warranty can be purchased at 10% of the purchase price. Extended warranty updates Computer Revolution warranty from 1 year to 3 years on all hardware (except CPUs), and from a 14-day warranty to a 1-year on all CPUs unless specified otherwise.
  7. There is no extended warranty on close out or refurbished items.
 
Pricing:
  1. Prices are good within two days from the date of purchase.
  2. Prices are subject to change without notice.
  3. Prices cannot be negotiated after order submission.
 
Rebates:
  1. Manufacturer's rebates are not refundable in case of return made after the expiration date of the rebate. Rebate terms need to be obtained from manufacturer directly.
  2. White box/bulk pack items do not have rebates.
 
Refurbished products:
  1. Refurbished products may have cosmetic blemishes.
  2. Refurbished products are fully inspected and restored to their original performance specifications by manufacturer.
  3. Contents of refurbished product package may vary from contents listing on the box.
  4. Most refurbished products are backed up by 90-day limited manufacturer warranty.
  5. Computer Revolution does not provided extended warranty on refurbished products
 
Restocking fees:
  1. All refused packages will be accepted back in stock, and a refund will be processed less 25% restocking fee and shipping charge within 1-3 business days from the date of accepting the package back. No exceptions.
  2. If product is being returned because the customer ordered the wrong part, the merchandise is subject to a 25% restocking fee.
  3. Restocking fee for either non-defective, unused or unopened items returned is 25%.
  4. If product being returned is claimed to be defective, but is found by Computer Revolution not to be defective, the customer will be charged a 25% restocking fee or the product will be shipped back at customer’s expense if it was received after 14 days from the date of invoice.
  5. Items returned without all accessories will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
 
Order Cancellation and Modification:
  1. Order cannot be canceled after it was shipped.
  2. Computer Revolution cannot guarantee any cancellation, modification of an order or a shipping method requested via voice mail or e-mail, if customer was not e-mailed with the e-mail conformation from Computer Revolution customer service or was not called back.
  3. Address correction or rerouting of the package by customer is not allowed, as it is an additional charge from the carrier. If the above occurs customer will be billed additional freight fee based on the bill from the carrier.
 
Returns:
  1. Customer cannot return any product without the return authorization.
    In order to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, please do one of the following:
    • Call 1-818-885-7157 to speak directly with a Computer Revolution Customer Support representative
  2. RMA number is good for 14 days.
  3. When requesting an RMA#, customer must match the serial number of the product being returned and the one on the original invoice.
  4. All returns must be received by our RMA Department before the last day of the expiration of the warranty.
  5. No cash refund for all items returned after 14 days from the date of invoice. Refund cannot be greater than the item's original sales price.
  6. After two weeks defective items will be replaced, and not refunded or given a store credit for future purchase at the current sales price of the returned product.
  7. SHIPPING CHARGES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE!
  8. Any opened software will not be accepted under any circumstances.
  9. Computer Revolution will not accept products for return that have been physically damaged, burned, abused, misused, neglected, repaired or modified.
  10. Computer Revolution DOES NOT GUARANTEE ANY PRODUCT COMPATIBILITY.
  11. Computer Revolution takes no responsibility for the installation of the product and incorrect operation of your system. We will not be liable for any system, component, or peripheral including, but not limited to, mechanical or electronic damage, lost time, lost wage, lost revenue, or any other damage arising out of the use of, or inability to use our products.
  12. Customer should always provide a detailed and specific description of the problem with the product or the reason for return.
  13. If product being returned is claimed by customer to be defective, but is found by Computer Revolution not to be defective, customer will be charged a 15% restocking fee, or the product will be shipped back at customer’s expense.
  14. Computer Revolution reserves a right to make a decision based on test results, whether to send a replacement, repair the product (by sending it to manufacturer), or process a refund.
  15. All accessories must be shipped with the item being returned; otherwise customer will be charged a 15% restocking fee, or the return process will be delayed until the accessories are received by our RMA department under the same RMA number.
  16. Shipping of the product back to us in proper packaging is totally on customer's responsibility. Product being returned in an envelope or with insufficient packaging will be refused and the warranty will be voided. Please make sure the product is not moving around freely in the box and is securely surrounded by packaging material.
  17. Please use a carrier with tracking capability so that proof of delivery would be available in case the package is lost.
  18. In case the package sent back to us is lost or damaged, the shipper (sender) needs to file a claim with the carrier in order to recover the funds. We will not carry any responsibility for the package and its contents in this case.
  19. Customer should always place an RMA number outside of the shipping box before returning it.
  20. Typically returns are processed by Computer Revolution RMA department within 2 -3 business days from the date of the product receipt.

Advanced replacement:
  1. Computer Revolution will only ship replacement product before receiving the RMA product if the customer agrees to pay for the replacement product. Upon receipt of the RMA product, the customer will be credited for the cross-shipment.
 
Discrepancy & Shipping Damage:
  1. Computer Revolution is not responsible for providing a specific delivery service to receiver's area if it cannot be provided by a designated carrier.
  2. Any incorrect or missing item in the shipment, or a damaged package received by Purchaser must be reported to our customer service within two business days from the date of receiving the products.
  3. We agree to file any damage claim immediately with its designated shipping carrier.
  4. After carrier processes the claim and we receive the documentation confirming that the claim is not denied, we can proceed with the refund or sending a replacement (carrier may request a damage evaluation of the original package in order to proceed with the claim). Purchaser can check the status of the claim by calling either to the carrier and providing the tracking number (can be obtained from our web-site) or to Computer Revolution customer service.
